One hundred Eighty Degrees

I don’t agree with the title of this prompt. One hundred eighty degrees is halfway the circumference of a circle, halfway is a neutral ground. As it continues with the rotation it gets closer and closer to the base and never leaves the axis. In fact there is no going away, because a full turn brings it back to where it began.

Turning halfway may not mean a change in opinion instead both parties accepts what’s acceptable or gives up what’s forgivable portions of what each has to offer.  Yet each one retaining their own distinct quality.

I like to stay neutral. Look at Switzerland, a country considered neutral so they get all the money deposited in their country from crooks all around the world. I’m brown and neutral.  I’m Switzerland  reaping rewards on all the fight from racial discrimination or biases.

So how many degrees is a change in opinion? There’s none. If I’m brown I stay being brown without taking sides. I picked up or drop off whatever is presented as long as it benefits me.

But wait maybe this prompt is right after all. Turning one hundred eighty degrees, brings each other on two opposite sides, the left and right side. There you go I just changed my opinion.

Yes, can I have the privilege of changing, I’m a woman after all.

Since we’re talking about degrees which properly refers to a circle, don’t forget it’s not just the left and right sides in question. There are two sides of the same coin,  meaning although they are different, they are still closely related to each other, it is the same coin anyway. Thus, bringing me back to a non difference in opinion. While a two faced coin means deceitful, hypocritical or treacherous, only because a coin has no side at all.

Take a coin, choose your side.

In conclusion since I can’t show anything,  I am bringing a third opinion in this prompt. Not to use anything round in depicting a changing opinion.  There’ll be no beginning or end or solution.

I think that is why the earth  is a circle, our solar system moves in a circle and life itself is always depicted as a wheel. Sometimes we’re up or down. No one is absolutely good or bad, rich or poor.

A circle is the reflection of eternity. It has no beginning and it has no end – and if you put several circles over each other, then you get a spiral. Maynard James Keenan

Changing opinions. In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “180 Degrees.”
